Feel free to check out the Fire in the Cave self-titled EP on our Bandcamp page. It’s a Name Your Price download. Doom on.

Every time I listen to Hildur Guðnadóttir I feel like I should send you a thank you note.

By the way I thought Isis sucked. Pelican owned that show in my opinion.

I have been quite busy and have yet had a chance to get it. I have heard only poor reviews, but I hardly rely on reviews for anything. One thing I was not fond of with 1349 was the constant pulsation of drums/etc every song; I look forward to a 1349 where every song is not as hard and fast as possible and I would not be surprised to hear that mixture of 1349 when alongside Tom Gabriel Fischer in the studio.

I am going to the Knoxville show. You totally should not pass it up!! Enslaved never comes here! I would say just catch a ride with us but you might be a rapist or murderer or something so that might not be a good idea. I am excited about Isis! I saw them with Jesu (I freaking love Jesu) in 2007 same place and they were good.

I spent a couple of hours listening to your radio while doing a ton of paperwork tonight. Made some nice discoveries of bands I wasn't terribly familiar with: OM, Red Saparowes, BT, etc.

Well I am not too sure yet, but it sounds good. I will have to take off too which sucks. I do not get why they are in crappy TN twice and not even Atlanta or New Orleans once. It does not seem to be a good choice.

So I am thinking of going to both Opeth shows. I have the time and the cash so I think I might as well. What do you think?

That is what I am hoping.

Soooo how was the show? I decided it would be best not to go. Tell me 1349 was horrible so I will think I did not miss anything good!

I'm not going to be able to make Scion Fest. Do you know anyone else that needs a ticket? I have two and am giving them both away. I'm also posting this on the Scion Fest last.fm page.

I get the crap beat out of me all the time; it is the disadvantage of being on the rail but well worth it! I might be in New Orleans during Skeletonwitch :-/ Maybe at Scion because I wouldn't recommend carpooling blindly bc I can be somewhat difficult to get along with and maybe we don't get along, but I am sure you already know that! But either way you will DEFINITELY see me at Opeth! I hope the set is as good as October's Night and the Silent Water!!!!!!!!!!!

And Opeth in Knoxville awesome! Maybe we should meet up sometime and see if we get along to maybe take advantage of carpooling that four hour drive.

So I am not too sure if I really want to go to Scion anymore. It seems like too much effort to see a few bands I have seen already; mainly I do not want to sit through 95 crap bands all day until 6 when the good bands start to play. And not counting I got the crap beat out of me at a show yesterday already by a bunch of scenesters. I picked up my tickets already though. I cannot decide what do you say?

I have seen High on Fire with Opeth a few times, pretty good. I am going to Knoxville to see Opeth. I would go to both but they are 6 hours apart :-/ I am REALLY hoping they will add an Atlanta (or at least New Orleans) date.

I managed to scare up a ticket to Scion Rock Fest, so I will be headed over to the ATL. Can't wait.

I will be outside and then head for Hell during High on Fire or after Boris (depending on how many people are going in), I like them but I just saw them a few times with Opeth in October. Yah Skeletonwitch can wait until March. I saw them with Danzig not too long ago anyways. And Opeth... can you believe NO Atlanta dates and TWO TN dates????? Whattttt...

1349 is the best band there! Well I say. I will be outside until about six and then I will be in Hell until after 1349; I want to see Skeletonwitch but I will see them in March instead. The line will most definitely suck and I will be beyond bored and I *hope* I do not end up sitting with the scenesters until gates open. I wonder how it will work the organization is pretty crap.

Nice tastes NIN, Opeth, 1349 and Sunn O))). I did not know these tastes existed in Alabama to say the least! Can I ask how you got your Scion tickets? I have to pick mine up Friday before the Satyricon show in Atlanta but it seems less irritating than will call.

Holy cow. How did I miss that Scion Rock Fest announcement? Probably because only one other friend of mine is into metal. I hate to miss that. Glad to see you're into Woven Hand though. That should be an awesome show.
