Sobre mim
I love Brazilian rock psychedelia from the 70's, and yeah psychedelia at large, from Syd Barret to Arnaldo Baptista. I also love Glam/Glitter rock, mostly Velve Underground, Marc Bolan, Roxy Music and Bowie. The hard rock/heavy metal quarter is one of my favorites, the bands most listened to being Sabbath, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, The Mothers of Invention and Zappa, Rush, Motorhead and Grand Funk Railroad. Punk, post-punk and British indie bands from the eighties are in the menu. Basically, my taste goes from the space oddities of Sun Ran to the philosophical rap of Lord Quas and Madlib. I am a total fan of jazz manouche -- Django, Bireli Lagrene, Stochelo Rosenberg, Schnuckenack Reinhardt... Should I speak about Brazilian music? You know, what fascinates me about Brazilian music is that it is so incredibly vast and diversified, so simple and powerful, and yet extremely sophisticated and avant-garde in so many ways that one can never tell what it is like, but only marvel and gasp in awe. I am open to new addictions.
