Here is Maynard singing it with a silly wig on.
Mar 19 2012, 20h15Wow. So, my 200,000th scrobbled track was The Outsider by A Perfect Circle. Nice!
Here is Maynard singing it with a silly wig on.
Abr 19 2009, 8h24
Abr 2 2009, 13h00Pfew.
And the 10,000th one is a particularly good one.
It's the instrumental 'Eat that Question' (originally off the 'Grand Wazoo' record, but this was the short 'Make a Jazz Noise Here' version).

Jun 5 2008, 21h48So...I noticed I'm coming close to a 100,000 registered plays quickly.
Shall we have a bit of a game as to which artist will have the honour of my 100K-th play on last.fm?
Place bets now....
Abr 14 2008, 9h50Name your top 10 artists on last.fm
1 Frank Zappa
3 Bolt Thrower
4 The Mars Volta
6 Pink Floyd
7 Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band
8 Napalm Death
9 The Smashing Pumpkins
10 Queens of the Stone Age
Now answer the questions according to the numbers:
What was the first song you ever heard by 6?
Hmmm...I think it was Mother. My dad had a couple of Floyd records and I think I've known their music all my life. He didn't play them very often, mind. It was the time when they were on the radio quite often. I think I out-played my dad on Floyd records by the time I was thirteen. Mostly Animals and the Wall and The Final Cut.
What is your favorite album of 2?
Honour - Valour - Pride. Actually, there's a bit more to it: every new album, Bolt Thrower perfects its own sound. So basically, after I'm used to the new songs, their newest album is usually my favourite ;)
How many times have you seen 4 live?
Just once. But is was a set of over three hours. Amazing gig. Some songs clocked over 30 minutes.
What is your favorite song by 7?
What is a good memory you have involving the music of 10?
The first time I saw them in Amsterdam, with Dave Grohl on drums. Or I think it was the first time. Songs For The Deaf was just out, and I was already in love with their previous albums. They were on the verge of becoming as popular as they are now.
Is there a song of 3 that makes you sad?
No, not really. Although I am easily saddened by songs in general.
Okay, maybe For Victory then. It's about a soldier coming to after a battle, only to find that everything around him is dead or destroyed. None have won. See lyrics below.
What is your favorite lyric that 2 has sung?
Hmmm...tough one. Aenima's great ('Learn to swim'), and so is 10,000 Days ('You're the only one who can hold your head up high, Shake your fists at the gates saying:
"I've come home now!').
Here's the lyrics from Right in Two:
'Angels on the sideline,
Puzzled and amused.
Why did Father give these humans free will?
Now they're all confused.
Don't these talking monkeys know that
Eden has enough to go around?
Plenty in this holy garden, silly monkeys,
Where there's one you're bound to divide it.
Right in two.'
What is your favorite song by 9?
Last.fm's saying Glass and the Ghost Children. I am going to go with that. Epic.
How did you get into 3?
I really wasn't into Bolt Thrower at first, but a concert in Den Haag really got me into them. Now, I find them to make the most relaxing form of loud music. Music I can work or study on. But also music I can get my rocks off on. I guess their groooove just really fits mine.
What was the first song you heard by 1?
Something off Broadway the Hard way, I think. Either that or Sheik Yerbouti. I have a feeling it's The Planet of the Baritone Women.
I was working at one of my first jobs at a construction market, and after closing time, we would use the excellent PA system to play our own tapes. A friend brought an FZ tape from his car to play. Most people didn't like it, and I thought it was just...odd.
What is your favorite song by 4?
At the moment it's Televators.
How many time have you seen 9 live?
Twice. Last time was just before their breakup. I remember Billy Corgan being dressed in some sort of tight white dressrobe, singing pretty songs on acoustic guitar for an hour. After a break, he returned with the same type of clothing, only this time they were all black. They played a rock set with electric guitars that was fabulous.
What is a good memory you have involving 2?
Yeah, going to Germany to see them for the very first time, during Germany's host of the football worldcup. It was high summer, we were with some good friends, the city was ALIVE with soccer fans from all over the world and the concert was one of the best I had ever seen or heard. We stayed for three days before returning home.
Is there a song of 8 that makes you sad?
I don't think many people would get particularly sad while listening to grindcore gods Napalm Death ;) But somehow, their message and sometimes bleak view of the world makes me a bit sad, yes.
What is your favorite album of 5?
Electro-Shock Blues. Now there's sadness for ya.
What is your favorite lyric that 3 has sung?
'As daylight returns
The fires of hope still burn
Crawl through darkened light
Sickened by the mournful sight
Tears fall from eyes
Not sure what has been done
Sorrow creeps throughout my soul
All is lost, none have won
The battle smoke remains
Begin to feel the pain
Alone now stagger on
Unsure how it begun
Through time war prevails
Thoughts, fears cast aside
Face the consequence alone
With honour - Valour - Pride'
What is your favorite song of 1?
Pfew... Eat That Question! It's an instrumental seething with energy. I can feel it building up in my head just when I type this.
What is your favorite song of 10?
I Never Came. I think. Or In The Fade. Maybe.
How many times have you seen 8 live?
About four or five times I think. Maybe more.
What is your favorite album of 1?
Hmmm...toughest question in here. For now, I'm going to go with We're Only In It For The Money. I don't listen to it very often any more, but I used to listen to it all the time when I was in school.
What was the first song you heard by 8?
Plague Rages, I think. Or maybe it was something older. Like I Abstain. Yeah, that's more likely. But we're talking maybe 17 years ago here.
Mar 9 2008, 15h12http://www.last.fm/music/The+Mars+Volta
The concert had already started when I noticed I had my small camera on me, at which I decided to take some pictures :)
It was an ace show. Almost three hours worth of great music.
