Unfortunately, Brooklyn was my first Mekons show. I thought it was great, but I heard the electric set the next night was 10x better, but I met a bunch of them that night and I thought it was a great show. I look forward to seeing them electric next year...with Tom I hope...good times though...great venue...

In some ways Weirdo Rippers vs Nouns feels like Surfer Rosa vs Doolittle. All four are great, but I prefer the rougher, earlier album in each case.

Ohh I'm so excited... saw Wire Weds, finally The Feelies play Boston on Saturday... Wire were much more enjoyable w/o the huge crowds.^^ I love that last Clinic CD ^^

My friend Cindy saw The Feelies the other night in NJ--she's too young to have seen them back in the day--said they were right on.I keep hoping they announce/play a Boston show, as promised :) I hope the weather holds!
