I was very excited about this gig, as i've seen them play live numerous times previous to this show. tonight wasn't gonna be an exception, for when this lot take to any stage they take no prisoners. it's a full on sonic assault and every time i have seen them they just get better and better. tonights show was to premier some of thier new album, well it went really well together with some of thier stand out tracks from thier previous the holy fuck lp. the pulse was a blistering rythmic assault on the audience with everybody smiling away in the room the whole place lit up into a frenz.y they ripped through lovely allen and royal gregory with amthemic grace like they could play without practicing, thier tight and almost regimental beats carried through like the longest rollercoster and failing to stop. tonight they were determined to give us a show to rember as they always do, heads down gently rocking in time to the music they're creating for us with beaming grins….they've come along way since thier first brighton gig at pressure point seeming such a while back and i totally look forward to when they next play, it's always a pleasure to see these sonic warriors. ldaies and gentlemen holy fuck have grown well with age and boy they're not stopping yet………
