Unfortunately I haven't yet, but I will grab the chance when they come to Germany again. Have heard so many times how awesome they are live..

Hey Mart, I just made a new last profile. You liked my old bands music and my new stuff is much of the same, the main difference is its free to download! Hope you like it, let me know how it goes? :)

Mart buddy! So good to hear from you! It's been a while! I'm doing well, thanks. Just working on getting back to normal after the six months of chemo. A few of the side effects won't seem to go away. But at least my eyebrows and eyelashes grew back. hee hee How've you been? What's new with you? Have you been to many awesome gigs this year? I stop by the BRMC forum a few times a week to see what's going on. Same with here. Yeah those first four Bunnymen albums are true classics. I could listen to them every day and never get sick of 'em. Be good buddy!

Haven't checked out the new one by The Horrors. But i liked their previous stuff and loved the 2nd one. Big Star you'll like if you like a certain type of power pop (Posies, Teenage Fanclub, Matthew Sweet, good/early Cheap Trick, Nazz, Raspberries, Badfinger, etc). The 1st two studio albums can often be found in a CD twofer and the 3rd kinda lost album is darker but not hard to find. Let me know if i can dig in my albums already in mp3 and can maybe send you some stuff.

Oh so the new Horrors is great?! Good to know, I need to hear that one soon & I was hoping that it would exceed the excellence of Primary Colours, haha :-) I love it when bands get better & better with each album.

I checked the track listing for Mesosoic and some of the songs we have already, but maybe they redid them for the proper release........did you get the EP yet?

His Twilight Singers work is amazing. I have not been listening to that in recent months, but I still love it. I have their latest album if you need to check that out :-)

Hahah. It happens, they are a good band. It's the somewhat recent image (especially of Bono) that ruins the enjoyment of the band. Their run from War to Achtung Baby is solid solid solid.

I see G's post below here, I got the email for that Kilbey/Kennedy album but have not gotten it yet. The Church and anything its members do is magical & wonderful. I met them last spring quite close to my home here on Long Island :-) Was one of my huge musical thrills of 2010. Glad you checked out Fungi Girls, and you DO hear the Ride resemblance, ha! They are youngsters, quite talented.

It should be really up your alley; i know you dig Echo & TBM, Chameleons, Joy Division / New Order... so it shouldn't be a stretch although the Church is a tiny little bit "sunnier". If you want a good entrée, the main Church guy has an album of (collaborating with another artist) reworking some older Church stuff and some live recordings. THey have a whole album downloadable here and some other loose tracks in the main page.

Mart, you've gotta hear Fungi Girls, from Texas USA. They've got Ride written all over them. It's GREAT!!!
