the new album (The Bride Screamed Murder) is really good, as are Stoner Witch and Electroretard. The newer stuff is more sludgy/stoner metal and the older stuff is more hardcore punk/grunge. Houdini, Bullhead, and Hostile Ambient Takeover are all very good as well. ps, Boris got their name from a Melvins song

glad to see the sword on your playlist, saw them in Portland last weekend. make sure to grab both age on winters and gods of the earth, both are really good stoner/doom records. also, you really ought to listen to Melvins. music is awesome and their influence to metal and grunge is without question

camisadonz Yeah Amoeba! I went there when i was in Cali in April, all three of them actually haha, I spent more money there than i should have. good for mail order too. I think i'll be moving over later next year, i'll have to budget for record shopping as i know it'd be hard to stop myself.

As for me, I've been doing alright. I like my work and the people here are great, but the hours are ridiculous. I still persevere for the day when people will have to refer to me as doctor!

cuz u iz dumb seriously though, they're pretty great. make sure you pick up the b-side releases (Bonus Drippers and Drippers) and their other projects under different names, Tobacco's solo stuff in particular. Their mix album with The Octopus Project is also pretty solid
