The show starts with a brazilian band, Mombojó, very good band, similar to Los Hermanos, from Pernambuco. It starts slow incresing the rythim as the concert goes on, at the end of the presentation everybody is dancing, singing and aplauding the group.
Following is Tv on the Radio, with a vocalist that seems to be conducting the croud, we all sing and listen to the beautiful melodies from the band, wich are almost erotic in a certain way. Their show ends letting the fans orfans.
Thievery Corporation brought a variety of singers including some brazilian ones. They aren't my favorite band but was a good show anyway.
Latter one of the most waited bands of the night-Yeah Yeah Yeahs- with a hypnotic singer, she screams, roll on the floor, spit water in the audience, trow the mic at the floor, repeatedly. The croud can't take the eyes out of her, even those who don't like the band pay attention very carefully. After almost half a hour of electro-punk there comes the known romantic song of the group: "maps". Everyone cools down, it's a very touching moment, some of them actually cry. Who went there to see especially this band, went home satisfied.
Daft Punk the great atraction of the night, with 1, 2, 5, 12, 30, 36, infinitally possibilitys of pyramids. With the distorced polygons and straight lines or their spacial rain and constelations, words on the screen (words from the song technologic). The show is also hypnotic, but not because of the dj's, who stayed hided under the famous robot costume, but because of the lights, it's a audiovisual concert who obligates everyone to stay 'till the end just to see what is the next thing they're goind to light up or show on the screens.
The more variable show untill now on the Tim Festival's concerts, going from MPB to eletronic in one night, a present to all of us eclectical ones.
Keep going and it will only get better and better.
