I'm also working full-time, for St.George Bank. Have been in the graduate program since January, which means I'm three-quarters of the way through already. It's whizzing by at a frightening pace. Looks like you've listening to a lot of Candlemass for the week or so. lol same here...sort of renewing my love for doom metal, after I guess a period of 2.5-3 yrs, and discovering a lot of new doom bands as well. I would recommend Reverend Bizarre....if you like traditional doom it'll blow your mind.

Well spotted, mate. I did do Commerce at UNSW and I am a friend of James Lombe, I see him weekly. What are you doing with yourself? Are you still a uni? How did you know the great JLo? Do you still see him regularly? Interesting music taste to say the least. I wouldn't expect us to have much more in common than Dream Theater, although I do listen to Porcupine Tree on the odd occasion. Have you listened to Oceansize before? They're amazing!

All of those bands you mentioned are favorites of mine too - more doom to your collection should definitely include Anathema's first two albums, The Melvins, Sleep, Om, High on Fire, Pentagram, Esoteric, Monster Magnet, Saint Vitus (!), EyeHateGod, Crowbar -- and I'm pretty sure you've heard of Electric Wizard.
