The succesful entry of the Latin countries last year to the ISF made that Bolivia made it's entry this year at the isf stage.
Miranda! with Perfect has been a big hit, and thanks to the participation at the ISF they also conquered many european and asian listeners with their song Perfecta.
Though the winner last year did well, it can be said that the world audience was clearly in favor of the Argenitinian band.

He's still sticking to his number 1 position. For 11 weeks he has been there, and seems far from giving up, Juanesis still hanging on there with "me Enamora"!

Same for the numbers two, in waiting position are Wisin & Yandel with "Sexy Movimiento".

Juan Luis Guerra & 440 are opening the attack. Up from 8 to 3, the greatest gainers of the week, with "La Travesia".

It means that Vicente Fernandez has to take a step back. From 3 down to 4 with Ëstos celos".

Enrique Iglesias is holding on to his position at 5 with Älguien Soy Yo".

Casa De Leones up one place this week again from 7 to 6, with "no Te Veo".

Down 3 places, from 4 to 7, in their 43rd week now (almost a year!), are Aventura with their song "Mi Corazoncito".

Grupo Montez de Durango went all the way from 14 to number 8 this week, with their hit "Lagrimas Del Corazon".

In their fifth week, climbing from 17 to 9 in the top 10, are La Arrolladora Banda El Limon with their smashhit "Sobre Mis Pies".

Another newcomer in the top we find Tego Calderon. He went from 18 to number 10 with his song "Quitarte To".

Hot Shot debute of this week is
    Marc Anthony with "Aguanile".

Something to mention this week from the Top Latin Albums is the entry straight into the top 10, at number 7 of K-Paz De La Sierra with their album "Capaz De Todo Por Ti".

And that was my report about the Hot Latin Songs from Billboard this week.

Not many changes in this weeks Hot Latin Songs.

    Two newcomers though.

Juanes still on number one with Me Enamora. Ofcourse, not only in the USA, South America, but also Europe he is the number one, and he will stay there for a while I guess.

Because of that Wisin & Yandel are in the traffic jam behind Juanes for another week at 2. With their hit Sexy Movimiento.

They are joined by Vicente Fernandez who is still on number 3 with Estos Celos.

Aventura The Boys go up two places from 6 to 4 with Mi Corazoncito.

On 10, from 11, Conjunto Primavera with Basta Ya.

La Arrolladora Banda El Limon are the Greatest Gainers of the week. From 26 to 17 with Sobre Mis Pies.

  • Mexico in the footsteps of Puerto Rico. Artist anounced

    Nov 19 2007, 15h18

Another male participant. Mexico is going to be represented by Pablo Montero during the first ISF Latino. "Cuando Sale La Luna" is the title of the song. Since we haven't heard the song yet, we can not comment on that. Hope to inform you later.
  • ISF goes worldwide.

    Nov 19 2007, 14h56

We are proud to anounce that from 2008 the ISF will have 5 local festivals: ISF Europe, ISF Asia, ISF Africa, ISF Middle East and ISF Latino.
The number of countries interested to take part in 2008 have made us decide to split up in festivals per region. From each festival 5-10 artists who reach the top 10 will go to an international finale. Where the international winner will be chosen.

ISF Latino is ready to start with 18 participants. The deadlines for the first ISF African is on November 25. Then the countries that want to take part have to have registered. For the Middle East, Asia and Europe those countries which are taking part already will simply move on to the regional festival.
  • Puerto Rico is ready for ISF Latino

    Nov 19 2007, 14h50

The news about ISF Latino is just out and the Puerto Rican jury already decided about the artist to represent their country in 2008. It is the young star Manny Manuel. The only thing missing is the song title, but there is a lot of time for that.
Manny's merengue is famous al over Latin America, and he is becoming more and more popular in the USA as well.
