Oh, shucks. Lo-fi shoegaze, though? It possibly cannot be that bad! Whenever you are at one with your hard drive again and feel like sharing your music, I will happily lend an ear.

me and my friend are jamming in a couple of days, it's gonna be sweet. I have yet to hear the epic quality of FLAC, I just don't like the file size, I seriously don't have the space as it is for all of my mp3 files :/.

Ok, ok. I will give you that. Canada has some great post-rock bands.

sounds like an awesome plan, anything to get people more open-minded is a good idea hey. shit, tyranny of distance eh? I read somewhere about a band that had members living in different countries around the globe, but they were still able to produce a full length album without ever meeting each other. if you ever get around to recording demoes, upload them to Vanity House! By the way, I strongly recommend that you check out Karnivool, they're an awesome alternative metal band from my home town, in particular, check out Themata, if you haven't already.

I know, but I don't listen to them as much as I used to though.

Hah, wow, you'd probably have a massively divided fanbase then :P. i think that if you do it right, you won't need to have side projects. hopefully you can achieve an underlying sound that people will be able to pick. I'll be interested to see what comes of this venture, where do/will you guys jam? not that I'll know where it is, just because that's a big difficulty we came across.

Yeah, the most random line-up ever to play with. You know what the product was? People moshing to GiaA. >.< I was having a good time, under a spell listening to tracks from All is Violent, All is Bright when some loser bumps into me. I shoved away so hard... I think a lesson was learned that day. Gosh! I wasn't that cruel about you being Canadian. I really wouldn't know where the best post-rock comes from, though. I don't listen to it as much as I used to, and when I did I never really paid attention to origins.

I'll probably have to drive up there to see them. I can do that in the near future! Ahh, well, that's what you get for living in Canada! GIAA played with The Fall of Troy, The Number 12 Looks Like You, and some other trashy glampost-hardcore band.
