Okay, I hope you'll enjoy them :) I haven't been wondering, perhaps missing them just a little bit ;) Yep, we should arrange a get-together of some sort. I haven't been to any gigs this year :( But today I'm going to see French Films at Alppipuisto. And it's free, yay! You might like them also, a bit Drumsy/Vaccinesy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ocP3lfGS1Ik

Yes it does, doesn't it! Thank you, my summer's been, well...it's been quite a good one. Although I rather feel that it has passed me by in some ways. It'll be August in a couple of days, oh dear. But summer's always too short. Hope you've had and are having a good summer as well.

That's exactly what I told them in addition to uttering a couple of not-so-carefully-chosen words about how they can shove their own wonder wands where the sun don't shine and threatening not to read another HP book ever again. I fancy by doing the latter I gave myself away for good.

I tried and I did, almost caught the train as well, but then it all came to nothing; it appears railway guards in the Express are incredibly racist!

Thank you kindly! It was hard to find that platform as I'm just a regular muggle.

Hahaa, well that's a good one! I'm glad you've finally embraced The Smiths' music! Mmm, I'm doing fine as far as I know, I think. Swedish exam tomorrow, been too lazy to revise so I expect myself to be in a bit of a pickle tomorrow. Oh well, it's gonna be summer sooon! How are you then? :)

Yes, I noticed! In fact, I was about to comment on that earlier. How do you like them so far? My favourite albums are probably the self-titled and The Queen Is Dead...although it's hard to say 'cause I'm quite fond of many individual songs.

Belle and Sebastian took a few years off but are currently recording a new album so I would think they would do a proper tour in 2010. Let's hope!

By newer stuff I was referring to the post-'Fold Your Hands...' era, and what I mean by this is their new form of production. Yes, I'm aware that 'Dear Catastrophe...' and 'The Life Pursuit' are produced differently, but both are full of non-stop pop-rock fun with the odd lyrically poetic piece such as 'Piazza, New York Catcher' and 'Dress Up In You'. I too admire the latter for Stuart Murdoch's classy lyrics, but the classy music also really contributes to an overall fantastic song. It baffles me why reviewers and certain fans frequently ignore these songs and instead complain about what they believe to be 'cheesy', such as the line "You're the funny little frog in my thro-at". I'm glad that fans like us exist!

Ah, good to see someone that agrees! It's definitely an underrated song. I also find that it's generally ignored by those that criticize their more recent stuff, despite the fact that it has the smart and jazzy production of their new style, yet inherits their original majestic sound.
