Tue 30 Mar – Foxy Shazam

Well I was not a fan of The Young Veins' set....it was mediocre at best.

Boston's own Bad Rabbits on the other hand got Great Scott hyped and set the night off. This was my 2nd time seeing this amazing band and they were even better tonight then they were the first time I saw them at Great Scott opening for Mayer Hawthorne.

Foxy Shazam headlined and were probably one of the most fun bands I have seen in a long time. I wasn't a huge fan of these guys when I first heard there stuff 2 years ago with their debut album, but with this new album that is coming out I have become a huge fan and seeing them live solidified this for me. Lead singer Eric is so full of energy and is what a good front man should be....a show man. Not to detract from the rest of the group, trumpet player, Alex was right up there with Eric most of the night and was just as much a show man. And then there is keyboardist, Sky, who performed half of a song with his legs in the air and head underneath the keyboards....a site to see...haha.

All in all a fantastic night of dancing and getting down and letting go of cares!
