Dez 13 2008, 2h31even though my birthday was a century ago (september), i want to pointlessly mention that my brother bought me the following albums:
Only by the Night
Till The Sun Turns Black
Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer?
only by the night is pretty good; not my favorite of the three. it wasn't on my wish list; the cashier suggested it to my brother so he bought it.
till the sun turns black is something i've wanted for a while. i am absolutely in love with Empty. the entire album is great. touches my little heart. =) ray lamontagne's voice is so soothing.
hissing fauna, are you the destroyer? is everything you'd expect from of montreal. which is a good thing for me. Heimdalsgate Like A Promethean Curse is what made me want the album in the first place. the album did not disappoint. however, of montreal is not for everybody so.. yeah.
ps. i realize that i am so not up-to-date in terms of albums and whatnot. but somebody's gotta buy the older stuff, too!!
Jul 29 2008, 7h12okay, i wonder how many people will actually read this entry.
there are a couple of things i need to say about the hit teen drama. firstly, there will never be another like it. secondly, one of the main reasons why there will never be another like it is the music that accompanies those heart-wrenching moments. *sigh* like Hide And Seek playing when marissa shot trey. or Keep It Together playing when..... i'm not sure but it was during a seth and ryan moment.
okay i am a sap. i will stop.
ps. and the subways playing rock and roll queen on the show... great stuff.
Jul 29 2008, 7h06i just want to say that i love the new last.fm! it is so spunked up and neat.
Mai 10 2008, 14h59Okay, I simply had to write an entry about him. I was highly upset that he got voted off, especially since I thought my many multiple votes would somehow keep him in. I hate that the judges were so harsh with him!! In my opinion, he is an excellent singer. I will buy all his albums, because I know there will be a lot. (I hope.) I think he has the potential to become legendary, I really do! Same with Michael Johns. People are just messed up. I think Jason's voice is very soothing. And I don't think you can find many people with the quality of his voice anymore. Justtt saying... If you disagree then BOO to you. =p
Jan 12 2008, 22h19has anybody seen the movie children of men (with clive owen and michael caine, two of the best actors ever, in my opinion)? aside from it being a fantastic film, the soundtrack was PERFECT.
as a note to myself, and anyone else interested, it consists of the following songs:
Tomorrow Never Knows
The Court Of The Crimson (King Edit)
There Is An Ocean
Arbeit Macht Frei
Bring On the Lucie (Freda Peeple)
Running The World
that's that. =)
i also suggest you watch the movie. warning: it might make you cry
