I haven't copied CD's onto my laptop in a really long time! The disc drive on my laptop's fucked. And I've gotten too used to downloading, sadly. Life of a poor student. I'm sure you can relate, you just don't have scheduled classes. And what do you mean, 'heard of Tom Waits?!' Do you think without you I'm musically retarded?

Transistor Radio is M Ward's second best album to Post War in my opinion. Check it out!

I'd give some of his [M. Ward] other stuff a listen. I'm no expert and recently branching out myself but there's some nice stuff in Transfiguration of Vincent and End of Amnesia and his other albums. Some highlight songs off the top of my head are 'Chinese Translation', 'There's a Key', 'Carolina'. Always very pleasant and warm stuff.

Yeah definitely worth a watch like. I still haven't seen Lawless, need to check that out soon. Wasn't too keen on Looper really, thought the first hour was good but got pretty bored when it went to the farmhouse stuff, it was all right I guess.

HAHA wow! Really, 13,000!? That's mad. Must be after all the resets! Can't say I have heard that but Fleet Foxes are great and I'm pretty intrigued by that story haha, will check that out. Recommendation-wise...hmmm, I reckon you've at least heard of most stuff I'm into at the moment, although I have one thing I'm obsessed with, dunno if you saw it but this film Beasts Of The Southern Wild was just nominated for a pile of Oscars last weekend and I saw it like 5 times last year haha. The soundtrack is absolutely amazing... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFFiaTOAWIc

I still love Oasis though! I realised I hadn't used this in ages as the Scrobbler app needed updating and hadn't put music on here for months so I reset my charts last month. Oasis will no doubt be back up there eventually. Wild how much my taste has changed since about 2008 though. Saw you listening to a bit of Tame Impala before, they are bloody brilliant!

Last Sunday, you're brother replied to a shout I left him FIVE years ago, that fateful night when his computer games broke. Good times.

Radiohead seem to be ruining a lot for me currently. Apparently listening to them overnight on the boat breaks your Walkman. Who fucking knew? I've heard some of The Ravenettes and they do seem pretty good. I'll check out Warpaint though. I need some new music though. My music library has been tiring me recently. So, as I do, went up to Luke's room and a had a braw rummage around. Forgot how much pleasure I get from copy dozens of CD's in one sitting. Also, got the new Strokes CD when I was still south. I pre-ordered that in February 2010. Play.com never lets me down. Also also, The Kills. Looking forward to that shit. Will you already be south or what day will you be heading down on the boat? Xx. ( I just posted this on my wall and got excited when I say I had a new shout. Just go and die Corinne you fag).

Sobre mim

For the past two years my hard drive, has been broken, and my ipod won't connect with my laptop, but I won't restore it and lose everything. It's a shame because my tastes would look very different to what they currently are.

For starters, I'm pretty sure that the Brian Jonestown Massacre, Warpaint, Kyuss, Fleetwood Mac, and The Velvet Underground would be reigning supreme at the top of my charts. Oasis might have just about hit 10,000 plays, and the Beatles would probably be a couple of thousand more as well.

I guess I'll pick up a new hard drive at some point, and go through the genuine pleasure of ripping all my cds again, and the displeasure of working out my playlists, and ratings all over again.
