cheers for those recommendations! that's quite a lot, which is good seeing as i only have 2 wks left of my placement then a few wks of doing nothing! high on my list are the latest albums by phoenix + deerhunter. i remember seeing the national about 5 yrs ago in some small tent at reading festival. great times. recommendations from me...hmm. i can't really think right now, especially not new stuff as i've been pretty out of touch for the past year! since uploading all my albums i've got back into shoegaze stuff again so if you haven't listened to much of that i recommend some ride, chapterhouse, my bloody valentine etc. but you probably know them already. talking about shoegaze, i'm quite interested to hear m83's last album which was released last year - kind of shows you how out of touch i've been!
