We've made it into 2012 - a sign of acceptable progress? Be well, Stephen

I have made efforts to broaden my CD collection in genres that I always sort of liked but didn't know much about. So I have been listening to more jazz, blues, post-punk, underground hip-hop and 20th century classical lately. Eclecticism is cool.

We talked about general guff, really. Not much writing talk because nobody's writing much at the moment (or at all in my case). Not much Zoetrope gossip either because none of us are spending a lot of time there these days. And none of my old mates are writers anyway. Plus I was quite drunk so memories are a bit vague.

Had a great time, fanks. Wendy, Morrow and Mary Mcluskey were the only 'Tropers there - it was mostly my old Hertfordshire/London pals there. And, OK, it was only a brief glorious moment that my scrobbles outnumbered yours but you ain't that far ahead of me now. So :P

Been listening to a bit of the old Snapper, eh? Nice. How are you, anyway? I've overtaken you on the scrobble count, by the way. Hahahahahaha! I'm easily pleased.

Hi! I am Robert from Slovak Republic and I am really big fan of Jack White and Dead Weather. I saw on last.fm event that you was on Monday London concert. I need to know how long was total duration of concert (And also I mean time, when starts to play support band and end of play of Dead Weather). I will go to Berlin concert tomorrow and I need to know it, because of time of my bus departure. REALLY THANKS for understanding and early answer

Epic...they were never a band I thought I'd get to see so I made sure I loved every second: it was a little slow to start but Weiland stayed upright and remembered his words (more than I dared to expect!) I was absolutely soaked in beer, sweat and god knows what else (how grunge), sang my little heart out and generally had a wicked time. How was it for you? Hope you're having a good weekend =)

It's just like going into a boutique where you love everything, even though a lot of it doesn't fit you. Respect .x.

Nah, I listened to a couple of albums on Spotify but I suspect I will purchase them eventually when I have some disposable cash.
