Andrew (the other friend I was originally going with) posted it on the event page back last November (they're his favourite band). I was considering burning it for you, actually and sending it along with Unisex, but for some reason didn't. I can do that in the future - seems like a nice compilation to have. :)

Nah, I was in Brooklyn. Which, while not Vancouver, seems a pretty legit place to have a Bejar spotting, what with it being a hipster indie rock mecca and all. On the other hand, it's also a pretty legit place to have a dude-who-looks-like-Bejar spotting, but I did get a pretty good stare in (he stared back! <3!) and he looked pretty distinctly Bejarian. Massive quantities of uncertainty remain, though. Is there a website somewhere keeping track of his day-to-day whereabouts?

Yup! My parents got one a while back, and once they'd digitized their record collection (I had to help my mom with her stuff, which involved listening to a lot more Air Supply and Bryan Adams than I'm comfortable with), it passed into my hands. It really is a marvelous device. If you buy a lot of vinyl, you should do everything you can to make sure Santa sends one your way. And the Boomtown Rats record is a lot of fun. I never would've thought to get it on my own, so thanks for the recommendation. I actually had no idea that they were the group that sang "I Don't Like Mondays!" *hangs head in shame*

I listen to whatever sounds good. I love buying vinyl records of my favorite albums when I can find them. I am an unabashed spaz dancer and firmly believe that doing so is good for the soul.
I also am completely enamored of anything to do with language, linguistics, or nerdy word stuff. Unless you share my interests, it is not advised that you start talking to me about such subjects or say something that sets me off on a tangent, since when I get on a word-nerd ramble I will NOT shut up.
I'm a democrat in both the small- and large-D senses, and I quite enjoy a good heated debate. I only take on worthy adversaries, though—I won't waste my time arguing with those without minds of their own or who resort to childish tactics such as name-calling or typing in all caps.
Friend requests are only accepted if I know you well, but you're welcome to talk to me, just drop me a line in my shoutbox if you have something to say. Je parle français, aussi. Je ne suis pas encore courante, mais j'adore améliorer et pratiquer ma connaissance de cette langue.
Oh, and I get attracted to guys most people don't. I'm an Ocasexual. ;)
Since many people have lamented the loss of my old avatar, and since the GIF problem was fixed on this site, although unfortunately not for avatars, I have resurrected Dancing Ric and put him here, and here he shall remain for time immemorial. Dance on, Ric, dance on.
