I find it hard to think for cool and important songs with length over 10 min. Currently i've found these:

ldrojas Sigur Rós, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Bob Dylan, Panda Bear, Opeth, and Pink Floyd have some songs with over 10 minutes lenght, you can add some to your list :)

wedontsmile Velvet Underground - Sister Ray Can - Halleluwah Check out Jim O'Rourke's The Visitor from last, last year... ~40 minutes song that goes through a dozen of genres. Also Shit And Shine's Ladybird (~40 minutes as well). l'Acéphale's Stahlhartes Gehäuse (black metal, 18 minutes) Another black metal masterpiece is A Looming Resonance by Wolves In The Throne Room. Where You Go I Go Too - ~30 minutes of space disco (and more) by Lindstrom is another personal favourite as well. LCD Soundsystem's 45:33 and more... Of course I am sure that during the last 2 years you've found more of those long, cool songs =) oops, can't have a list of long songs without Earthmover by Have a Nice Life
