The problem is with the male musician, I have a lot of them to which I’m very attached as well, so it’s really difficult. But I think my heart is calling Scott Walker. Another unique artist and singer, and, more than everything, an enigmatic lone individual. His deep baritone voice makes tremble your skin. The mystery of his persona and his music has enchanted me in a profound way; there was light and romance in his past, now there’s detachment and dense darkness. No one knows anything about his life and how he turned from the baroque pop icon to the complex avant-garde figure. I have investigated through the years, from the clues that I got, he’s one of the most impenetrable artists in music.

I understand it’s a hard choice to make, especially when you know a lot of musical personalities. I like Fernow anyway, I think he’s a great significant musician in the noise side of music today. My female is and will always be Björk. Literally a piece of living art, a unique character, an unpredictable transformist, the symbol and personification of the Icelandic animism. Her multiform way of expressing and her distinct tone of voice, united to a music that embraces every possible languages, makes her a pioneer without rivals. She truly is what a complete artist should be, in continuous journey, discovering new things, concepts, ideas, assuming different forms and dynamics, without being influenced by anything except herself. A sort of inspiring muse, I’ve never stopped to follow her since I was just an adolescent. When someone ask me to suggest music, she’s always the first thing that comes to mind.

Hey, I'm doing a little survey: If you should pick one male musician and one female musician, who would you pick?

hey geezer! yeah, i'm doing alright. days are pretty much passing by. guess i am not listening to as much music as i used to, and especially in the noise/PE department i slowed down. no real reason for that i think. how are things in Chicago?

really glad you liked it man - if you mean that split with DSWACV in particular I strongly suggest checking out his work - another uk noise artist, he sticks strongly to an emphasis on hnw and doom/drone and dark ambient leanings, and he also does this really great black metal (which also informs the noise a little, I'd gesture) https://rosaceae.bandcamp.com/

wow, everything?! that's a lot! I'm aware I can be too prolific for my own good, especially doesn't help when you couple that with the fact I prefer to work on longform pieces more than anything.

Been pretty alright. I just moved to San Antonio, living and loving life here. Glad to be in a new chapter. Still in the process of fully integrating, and plus all my stuff is still back home. Where are you off to?
