I'm not sure I need to add some DK and such to it. This is mainly my morning playlist. Somehow I don't think the office would really enjoy me jamming out to 2 drunk 2 fuck at 6 in the morning...though it would be fun.

Wow... That is just weird! I mean, Los Campesinos! do sound like a band aimed at late teenagers (well, at least it's how I feel about them), so it feels odd to know there are more people like you and me enjoying their music. Feels odd and great at the same time because it makes me feel less lonely now :)

oh, sweet jesus! i'd have given anything to witness those days! unfortunately i wasn't that lucky. i have seen good bands (as in good i mean bands i appreciate, not necessarily music gods) emerging in the last few years, but i don't think i listened to anything contemporary during my high school years. i was born ten years too late. gingers are wonderful! keep it real~

i just read your comment about grunge on the sp page. here is what i have gathered over the years on the matter. rolling stones magazine insists on calling the pumpkins' debut album gish grunge. they have done so over and over again. billy corgan himself openly disagrees with the statement. the band especially hated being compared in any way to nirvana, because they didn't think they were similar, yet were sort of competing at the time. i guess that some people agree though, and this is probably why it got tagged as grunge:)
