Ah man that would be sweet! Unfrotunately on this trip we are only doing france and then uk. Already planning the next trip though so you never know that might be on the list. Yeah I love anything julian does, especially when he gets into some weirder heavier stuff like on first impressions of earth. So I think this album is destined to be one of my all time favourites by him

Oh nice! Where abouts in Europe? I'm about to head over next week for a trip around France and then to the uk for a bit. Unfortunately all my matches loving friends are also overseas these days so if I go it'll have to be solo..could still be tempting though. Also check out this julian casablancas and the voidz album if you get a chance..good stuff!

Sweet shirt! I found my decomposer your hoodie the other day..my friend and I got to hang with Shaun for about an hour while he was getting dinner when they toured in the town I'm from. Not many people knew the matches there which was sad but worked to my advantage haha

Oh that'll be sweet if they stream it. Honestly though for me the album id wanna hear in full is decomposer. That's still one of my absolute favourite albums and I hope one day they do a vinyl release for it like they did for e Von Dahl. I would pay a lot for that.

Yeah definitely agree. I think the production is just a lot better on these songs than future primitive and especially melodia. Melodia had some great songs but the way they were produced compared to how they sounded like was terrible. I think this album is the most like nirvana they've ever sounded. Really liking out the loop, darkest shadow, green utopia. I see you're going to the matches reunion show! That will be amazing

Yo! Here's the Malmöfestivalen: http://www.lastfm.se/festival/3576203+Malm%C3%B6festivalen+2013?ac=malm%C3%B6 It's from the 16th til the 23rd in the parks, squares and streets of Malmö and as I said it's completely free. I guess You could like the most Johnossi and Mando Diao. Have a listen to them if you haven't yet! Hope you manage to go, this could be fun.

Hey bro! NZ's been great so far! SInce I'm a city boy a enjoyed the most staying in Auckland and Wellington (in both spent about a month) but have also been to many other places here. From the musical perspective – went to some awesome gigs including Weezer, Grizzly Bear and recently Laneway Festival in Auckland with its highlight show from Tame Impala. Will probably do a stop-over in Melbourne on the way back to Europe. And how have you been? Diggiing the Twin Terrors tracks? And how do you like the Danish winter? cheers

Oh yeah, I can see what you mean. When I first heard Ring Pop I thought to myself that if you took away the guitar and synthed it all, it'd make a great beat for some uplifting love song. Haha, Saves wouldn't even think of taking that route. I think it'll go the pop route but I'm hoping (as you do when a new release comes out) for that 'kicker' that real awesome, slow amazingly beautiful song, another 'Undress Me' if you will. That song gives me goosebumps, it's that amazing. I'm just so interested to hear 'Xenophobic Blind Left Hook' haha that name's got me..

His handwriting is worse than mine which is saying something haha. What are your expectations of LP #8 anyway? DO you think it'll be like Daybreak with that sort of eastern tinge to it or do you reckon it'll be something explosively different? Either way, I'm excited and am counting down the days til it shows up.

Oh dude I hear you. Loud. And. Clear. The songs off the album so far as strong and very reminiscent of their early stuff with a tinge of their exploratory style. I've had Ring Pop on repeat since it was released and am still loving the hell out of Ain't No Kind of Love. Seen the track listing? What do you make of the title 'Xenophobic Blind Left Hook'? Pretty freakin' interesting to say the least haha.

I felt it was quite slow but after giving it a shot I was pretty impressed. Great doesn't even begin to describe Breaking Bad, I had a pretty unhealthy obession with it, just could not stop watching it. Check out Fringe though dude, great watch. It's created by J. J Abrams. What do you make of Archer? Still haven't got round to watching it...

The Walking Dead is awesome, and I was a late comer to Dexter but I've been watching it recently and I'm pretty impressed. Breaking Bad is possibly my favourite, can't wait til s5 continues next year. And Fringe, ever watched that? Been another one of my favourites since it started, but its only got a few episodes left til it finishes for good.

Awesome choice, s8 has been on top form. Are you up to date with the episodes? Comedy wise, I've been keeping up to date with Philly, Parks and Rec, and The League, all which have been really impressive this year. And looking forward to Workaholics and Community early next year.
