Oh, and I'm also glad how I'm like the personalized form of WH for you. -.-

Welcome back! :O Well, Time I is pretty layered; it has VERY much stuff in it. It's this epic grandiose extreme metal in the style off the debut, yet the sound is much fuller and more symphonic. I still find it surprising how early on you (I, doh) can grasp the album: I liked it very much on the first time already! Definitely one of the most ambitious and quality metal albums in the last few years. The songs are very good, but you don't necessarily even think of them as some separate songs, they feel more like a continuum. There are more clean vocals than before, and they sound very good, as well as the growls do. Mäenpää hasn't lost his touch at all. If anything, he has even evolved in every aspect since the debut! How an album this complex manages not to be cheese and to be surprisingly easy-listenable is beyond me. ^^

You too know that I don't suck that hard! :D I got Salt pretty early after all, something like two weeks ago. ^^ Very great! This time I think it's very solid album. Very great metaphors and connections between sailing and some real life troubles! ^^ Also the music is as head-exloding as ever in my opinion! :D You never left me comments about the album though. :( I hope you aren't mad at me. ;o It seems you really like Wuthering Heights though which is great! \,,/^_^\,,/

Well, I never got what's so cool getting something as quickly as possibly. I value quality and fairness over easy and quick any day. You do that, though. ^^ It's nice to hear whatever you have to say about it. I'm looking forward of you pouring me very much great thoughts about the album as the good album deserves, in exchange to those basic "awesomenesses" though. :)

ok, no problem. :) I know that there are many bands better than Lordi but they are my favorite finnish band so I don't care what others say about them ... and I don't listen only Lordi xP ... as you probably noticed I also listen to Bon Jovi and other hair metal or rock bands... and I think Lionheartattack is a good conversationalist when it comes about music ^^

I've been in the first row on bigger gigs, but not in some time. My friend, who's often with me on these shows, and I have noticed the audio works better if you're not too close to the stage. It's all about your will and elbows, or otherwise the ability to wait before an empty stage, if you want to get to any first row. :P Not that many people there though. My friend read the place's capacity being 900, so there weren't that many people there. 800? Gamma Ray isn't exactly the most popular band in Finland. It's great they could host this show though to attract even some people. ^^ But what's wrong convincing someone to listen to music? :o

Well, went to the gig last week. Fantastic! Minus degrees had taken Kai's speaking voice away, but it didn't seem to affect on singing much. :D He was as good as the last time I saw them. ^^ Freedom Call were of course great as well, but they only got to play seven or so songs. :/ They also said it's their final gig on this tour! I'm grateful they still decided to come to Helsinki. :) Oh and they really had a new drummer...

Btw, did Zimmermann still play for Freedom Call as well?

Hmh, wait, they're playing Armageddon on this tour? :O~~~~ Anyways, sounds as one might expect it to be. Mindblowing. :) Glad you, say, liked it a little?

Yeah, for sure WH would be too good an opener for those two, rocking them out alive anytime they choose. :/ Still, I can't wait to see GR and FC, either! Good luck! ^^

Splendid! ;o Ultra-awesome, as always! Is it a pre-produced version though? It sounds so cheap at the moment. Anyway, the melodies, the structure, the musicians... Perfection! :´)

O.O Thanks for this juicy nugget of info! I am lazy prelistening to anything that is to come, but with WH, I need to make an exception! :D Shall comment once I listen to it...

Well, I've only heard Within and maybe two songs off To Travel For Evermore. Within is a much more divided album with some boring songs in my opinion. I don't even like Dreamwalker, the longest song of WH (so far. The band has told that the new album SALT is going to have a longer one ;O~) is a bit, like we say here, 'herring salad'. Too progressive, it seems just for the sake of being progressive. Some other songs haven't worked eather. I especially like Sorrow in Memoriam off that album, but it's nowhere near as good as the Nils Patrik ones. :)

Erik Ravn gets Johansson to sing so eclectically I don't know why the hell he only sings in one style in Astral Doors and Lion's Share at least... His voice does miraculous things on WH! Once an interviewer asked Erik why there aren't credits for that second singer in the booklet. Erik laughed and told that there's only one singer. :)

Yup! And it's kinda the most useless track on Far from the Madding Crowd anyway... So, get the picture of the awesomeness? :D Well, I bet you don't... not until you listen to the album, that is! :D

Good luck trying. At least live versions. Studios there might be. If you find anything that's them and live, link me! ;O~ After all, the novel and the Kate Bush song are 10 000 times more famous each than the little overlooked Danish veteran power/folk metal band that KICKS ASS~! and that isn't well known even in the power metal circles. The worst ever miss for the music fans - as I have introduced the band to anyone that listens to metal, his/her head has exploded in front of the sheer asskicking and quality that is Wuthering Heights. And I mean the last two (in a moment three!) albums, sang by Nils Patrik Johansson. They are just completely something else, man... :D The best "new" music I've heard in the last three years time or so! The absolutely best after - no - WITH - Stratovarius, Helloween and Blind Guardian for me! \,,/
