Did you see the Nephilim in Leeds in October? You do look familiar ... I happened to stay in the same hotel with the TLC guys last year Easter in Austria, I go to their concerts whenever I can since then. Dave and me are planning trips back home around the concerts in the Library in Leeds, love the low entrance fee there.

Good to hear back from ya. Been offline for a few days, away at the folks! Yeah, I got my ticket all safe & sound too - handy having an O2 down the road - I simply went in there, & got the ticket for the Brixton show there as they're able to print off tickets for any O2 venue at any other O2 venue! Saves on booking fees too! Lol. Never seen Fields Of The Nephilim, but like you saw The Mission a fair few times across the years! Never seen Gene Loves Jezebel either, that I recall - so it's a win, Win, WIN for me! Travelling up [from Bournemouth] with a couple of mates that I went to see The Cult with!! ALL good!! D.

G'day "Grey". Lol. Been a while, ain't it, eh...? Hope you're well...? Me & a couple of mates are hoping to get to The Mission's 25th Anniversary gig at Brixton Academy in October! Don't time fly, eh...?! AND with Fields Of The Nephilim as support! What a result, eh...?? Awesome!! Peace. D.

When I last saw Nine Inch Nails in September of last year, Numan joined them onstage to play "Metal" and "Cars;" it was amazing. NIN is actually the band that got me into him, but I wish I'd heard of him a lot sooner than I did, but I feel that way with a lot of other bands: Numan, The Cure, Siouxsie, Bowie, etc.

Thanks; I was going to see him in April, but the the volcano in Iceland erupted and the show had to be postponed. It's worth the wait, though: he's performing The Pleasure Principle all the way through. I'm excited as hell. When did you see him?

Yeah, I know what you mean. I've often contemplated the make-up & stuff again, but no-one really knows me like that any more - they'd probably get the wrong idea! Ha, ha. I still have a pony-tail though! But, since the days of the Mission, Sisters, Nephilim, All About Eve, et al, there's only really been echoes of what was. Marilyn Manson liked his make-up, but his musical style was more that of Industrial/Rock. Billy Joe & friends of Green Day, have had an almost gothic-ish look at times but there sound has varied more from Punk/Rock to standard Rock, & then there's the many European female-fronted Operatic/Symphonic/Doom/Metal/Rock crossover types that all have a more rock/melodic edge, yet the woman quite often dress in the gothic-ish style... So, I suppose it IS alive of sorts, just not in the way that we from 25+ years ago grew up with it! [Who says the 80's were bad, eh...?! Ha, ha, ha].

G'day. Many thanx for the "add". Hope this finds you well...?? Nothing wrong with being an "ageing Goth"! At least we "were there amongst some of the really good times"!! Ha, ha. I ain't donned any black make-up for years! Ha, ha. Peace. D.
