this is meant to be a *slap in the face* http://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/14920-marrow-of-the-spirit/ 8.5 dan. not only do Agalloch get the respect of pretentious music snobs/pricks, but it goes to show that P4ork do give metal respect when its deserved.

haha! mash that Madonna! Mark David Chapman is one of my favorite songs by them, though u didn't get far enough in the album to hear it >:{ (looked up angry face on google). also, two music snobs will NEVER be fully compatible. its a miracle that we deviate by less than 5%

hm... for me it's either like 95% full or full full. i don't have my glasses on, but it looks like there is a little blip of gray. is it different for you? is it possible that i'm more compatible with you, than you are with me? does that even make sense?!

dude whats ya AIM. your post in that topic about religion showed a really proficient understanding of basic philosophical concepts (a priori deductive logic? no one knowz what that means man) and it'd be cool to talk to someone about that sorta stuff sometime.

oh btw i forgot to mention as far as the beach house album goes, "10 mile stereo" is an excellent track as well

Also you listen to BtBaM LOL wtf?? That's pretty surprising I didn't think you liked metal at all. I have to admit the only song by them I like is Sun Of Nothing but it's a FANTASTIC song. If you like btbam by the way you'd probably like the album Kezia by Protest The Hero. It's a fantastic album in the same hardcore/math-rock vein as btbam, but better vocals and shorter, more concise songs.

Beach House is pretty tight, but they're also kinda hit or miss there are a couple of songs I REALLY like on that album (namely Zebra) but the others are just kinda... eh, boring. I would give it a listen though.
