I didn't travel to the States just for NIN, I was staying with my friend in Florida and we decided to get domestic flights up to NC since the show was on while I was there. The only time I've travelled abroad for just the band was in 2005 when I went to Berlin to see Rammstein. I can't justify crossing the Atlantic for a band, but a hop over to mainland Europe is a bit different :P Hopefully you will get to see some of those bands :)

When I saw them in America (Charlotte, North Carolina last month - only other time I've seen them) I was lucky enough to hear them play In This Twilight as a soundcheck, and the song is beautiful live because he plays the piano a lot in it. If I could pick one song from Year Zero to see them do live it'd either be God Given (my favourite NIN track, you can see it's high up in my top tracks) or The Good Soldier. My friend who lives in Florida was lucky enough to see them do The Gold Soldier :( She also called me during Discipline so I got to hear a bit of it :) I've asked my friend if he can drive us down to London, in return I'll give him the ticket for free. Don't know if he can yet though, so I'll have to ebay it if he doesn't. What bands would you like to see in concert if you could?

I would've liked at least one other song from Year Zero since it's my favourite album (in my opinion the album as a whole is a masterpiece) but like you say it was a show for the fans and a showcase of the older material. I think I actually squeaked when they played The Big Come Down though, it's an amazing live track. That pretty much made it for me, along with the surprise appearance of Gary Numan. Yeah I'm supposed to be seeing Hanzel und Gretyl (American industrial band that sing in German - don't know if you know of them) at the end of the month in Camden but since there's a National Express strike I'm kind of screwed for travelling to London, so I don't know if I'm going any more :( Also going to M'era Luna festival in Germany in August, really excited about that. It's going to be industrial heaven. How about you?

I'd like to hope so but then again I'd rather they had a dignified exit while NIN is "at the top of its game" as Trent said in a recent interview. Rather than any of this tacky reunion shit, you know? It'd kill me to see that. Though Trent's not that stupid. I hope he releases more music with NIN though regardless of whether they tour again or not. Was this your first time seeing NIN?

Had about a two and a half hour drive so no not too far really :) Yeah I never thought I'd get on the front row, I just got lucky I guess. Yeah it was pretty amazing, I now can't hear out of my right ear as well as being blind, lol. Worth it though.
