I decided to try it out. It's not really outdated or anything. It's actually fairly decent, but I'm just too used to the interface of EasyTag now. It would be too hard for me to switch. The only complaint I have with Cowbell is that it's hard to see all of it's features and abilities until you go digging around the interface a little.

no problem. I've been using it for more than 2 years now. I think the GTK interface is a little clunky, and it's not always very intuitive, but I haven't found anything better. I've been thinking about trying Cowbell (it was referenced in the thread you linked to earlier), but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Which is sad, considering how long I've been using Easytag.

I use a program called easytag. It works pretty well with mp3's. I've noticed that if I try to embed images into certain .ogg files, it ends up corrupting the file (I think because it overwrites some important info in the header), but it works fine for mp3's.

well, it's very nice to meet you. I stopped posting on that forum a while ago because of time constraints, but I still remember it somewhat fondly...it's generally a great community. And yes, we both certainly seem to have good taste in music. :-D
