It took me a while to get into the album too. The third track is a bit grating after the much more upbeat songs preceding it, but I like it now that it's had time to grow on me. Their first few records are a bit too run-of-the-mill post-rockish for me though, but all of the recent stuff with Efrim's horrible singing is great. He does sound a bit like a less drunk version of Shane MacGowan during the maudlin sections on that album.

BlindBlindBlind is badass. the litte a cappella part at the end is the best thing ASMZ have ever done. The only problem is that "love the horse" line. All I ever hear is "love the whores", which is arguably a lot more poetic. Efrim Menuck is the best shit singer of his generation.

I am student of film and comparative literary studies at university and i have the site as red and i like to listen to music and my favourite films recently include blade runner and i met some famous people a few times and i went to some gigs and i saw literally some bands and even some solo artists and not forgetting that i saw collaborations like that time that guy sang with that band at that festival that i think i went to and i enjoy eating meat but i keep living with vegans because i apparently love them and one of them is no longer a vegan so hopefully the other one in my soon to be house will fail 2 lol and i like football and my favourite player is tahar el khalej or najwan ghrayib but srsly i fink leeds is my fave team and the best player we ever had was certainly not zoumana camara and i am left handed and i like to read blogs like myfirstdictionary and i have a facebook and i have a twitter account that i use both lol and my favourite album is one i listen to a lot hehe and i have a xbox and i play rock band 2 and i can play it and i like funny things cos they make me laf haha and i like lists of things cats dogs pigs turtles hehe those are animals winnebago monster truck tour bus ferrarri enzo and i have been to america once and also once i went to belgium and on a different occasion many years before i went to france and a man shined a laser pen in my school friends eye and we ran away and he was a bit blind haha and once i thought i saw morrissey but it was just a pigeon and when i grow up i want to do lots of things and to have 2 dogs and 2 cats and a big kitchen and a welcome mat i also manage to do well in my comparative lit essays despite not reading lol here are some of the books i have not read to the light house swanns way dubliners and prolly like all the hp lovecraft books cos hes a fag lolol and there was this one time i went to the cinema and i saw a film. that was pretty good
