A little about me... I'm a Psychology student at the University of South Florida. I was born in Puerto Rico and moved to the states when I was 13. I am very open-minded and have no problem with voicing it. Ok, that should be enough. Who is able to completely describe themselves in here anyways.

Opinions about matters of taste are not objectively right or wrong, so disagreements about matters of taste cannot be objectively resolved. Listen to what you like. Who cares if someone else likes it or not.
I definitely wont apologise for my music taste. Yes, there are a few genres which I dont listen to much and some that I just dont like. For example, Black metal is LOL worthy and just too extreme and totally lame, although there are a few exceptions. But still... no hardcore black metal for me, please. Oh, and rap. I DONT like rap. My preferences are mainly in other subgenres of metal, singer songwritters, classical music, classical crossover artists and musicals. But all in all, I am pretty much open-minded and will try everything once. I embrace diversity. Music is no exception.
