    I did like you said and re-installed last.fm client afterwards. The only trick was to change the AIMP (Winamp) scrobbler plugin from "media library" to "general". Then the last.fm client was able to pick up on the scrobbles. Note: AIMP *is* Winamp. Period. It's not better or worse. It uses the same codecs and has the exact same sound quality. The AIMP developer is even the same person that developed Winamp. I like AIMP's minimized panel and mouse "hover" popup which provides great track info plus album art (if available). But I may switch back to Winamp because I think it's slightly more light weight, and has video playback capability missing from AIMP. Thanks again for the help to revive my scrobbling :)
