Oops, I know we've conversed since but I've just found my original reply to your shout in my shoutbox...damn technology. Here it is: New songs indeed though I'm not yet convinced. Their EP released last month was good though. The Former Ghosts album is DEFINITELY worth pursuing. The four songs on their myspace are quite typical of the album as a whole and pretty darn good. I've only just discovered it: the annual trawl through end of year lists featuring albums i've never heard begins here...

At last a new My Latest Novel album! I quite liked their debut, I think you recommended it to me absolutely ages ago. Listening to the new one at the moment; some pretty good tracks so far which stand up to the best the first record had to offer. It appears you're off to Coachella again!
