I have, for some time now, been in the habit of compiling 'mixtapes' (inverted commas as they are, without exception, all CDs), mostly by way of MusicMagic Mixer. I am going to, at fairly frequent intervals, share some of these compilations within my journal. This first example completely fails to represent my usual tastes in music, but is relatively 'hip', so I am led to believe.

1. The Roots feat. Nelly Furtado - Sacrifice
2. Funkstörung - Test
3. Eminem - '97 Bonnie And Clyde
4. DJ Revolution - Work Of A Master
5. Pet Shop Boys - You Only Tell Me You Love Me When You're Drunk (Brother Brown's Newt Mix)
6. Mars Black feat. Jamazz - Name Buckels, Sheep Coats And Lees
7. Binary Star - Glen Close
8. Queen feat. Wyclef Jean - Another One Bites The Dust
9. MF DOOM - Hoe Cakes (Ant Remix)
10. Nelly feat. City Spud - Ride Wit Me (this track crossfades ridiculously well with the preceeding one)
11. Cypress Hill - Lowrider
12. dj BC - Money
13. Trüby Trio - Cruisin'
14. The Black Eyed Peas - Audio Delite At Low Fidelity
15. Scissor Sisters - Available (For You)
16. Shaggy - Goodie Goodie

So why are these songs all on my mix? Do they all have a running theme? I only know a few of them, so I can't figure it out on my own. My R&B/rap isn't up to snuff these days. ^.~

My = the same. I don't know why I typed my. Weird.

They're all sounds that share certain acoustic qualities and thus sound good when played alongside each other; there isn't really much more to it than that. I use Predixis' MusicMagic Mixer, a version of which is built into Winamp. It's worth checking it out, even if you settle for the free version that is available, that is highly usable, though not customisable to the same degree.

Sounds = songs. Looks like this thread makes our heads all buggy.
