Evan, You got to see three great blues masters, Mojo Buford, Willie Big Eyes Smith and Pinetop Perkins. My first blues gig was Muddy Waters with Ottis Spann, James Cotton, Matt "Guitar" Murphy,Willie (Big Eyes) Smith & Calvin (Fuzz ) Jones. I was only 16 years old in a small club in NYC & thanks to a good friend of mine who plays harp who got me into the blues because i grew up with the Beatles as & then to what they call Classic Rock which is rockin roll from the Woodstock days & my first concert was The Who which i saw them two nights in a row at the Forest Hills Tennis Stadium in Queens NY & they sure give a great show. I'm 58 years old now & i was very lucky that i live in NYC & got to see many of the blues masters before they passed away but there's some still left like Buddy Guy & even Tommy Johnson who played last year in Canada which i didn't even know he was still playing but i couldn't go to Canada. I never seen Buddy Guy play yet but he's touring.

Hi, I hope you love the Blues evanisreallyok. 98.5% of my library is all blues & the rest is classic rock from the Woodstock days which i grew up with as kid & then a good friend of mine that played harp for Muddy Waters & others got me into the BLUES. I was lucky to see many Blues Masters before they passed away here in NYC.

Cool. Even though I live in the Netherlands, I was lucky enough to see him live 3 times. In 2014, I hope to see the guys of your profile pic live too :)

Yeah, the Rolling Stones older stuff was the freak, but they did reinvent themselves throughout the decades......always staying outside of mainstream! If they ever showed up on Kasey Kasam's top 40, it would be an insult!!

A-OK Evan, not a big George Thoroughgood fan myself, but have become a huge Rolling Stones fan....especially their older stuff! I see many of your fav artists are from Motown, if you like harmony in vocals, suggest the Platters.....never heard a Platters song I didn't like. As far as AC/DC, never been a big fan of theirs, but definitely favor Bond Scott over his replacement, he just screeches!
