I used to pay for Last.fm when paying would allow to remove ads, and it was not obligatory.
I renewed my subscription shortly before I realized the new policy. I find it unfair and harmful to
the community, so I will not renew my subscription.
I'm for a purchasing power parity Last.fm fee for all countries.

I decided to resume scrobbling as I realize that Last.fm is still keeping scrobbled data free and publicly available. This is a good practice, so different from other online communities, so it should be encouraged.

I moved to libre.fm and I'm now scrolling to both sites.
