I live in Aus so I missed out on seeing them. It'll be sometime before I see them. I liked the album, def not their best but also not their worst. I just liked it for what it was; a bunch of new songs. I totally get what you mean about the production too. Whats were your favourite songs off the album?

Agreed. From the vids I've seen online they're amazingly tight these days. So glad they're touring Aus again early next year playing two sets at Soundwave Festival - one set of their songs and the Pinkerton cover set from Bamboozle. Amazing.

Fair call. I'm still loving Daybreak. If you haven't already, you should check out STD's Daytrotter session. Its really good (of course).

I can't fault any song on that album (even though I overplayed 1984, Living Without Love, Let It All Go and Undress Me when they were put out before the full LP release - plus I had an acoustic live version of Daybreak (the song) well before the release which I played the hell out of). Agreed - I hope this line up sticks around for the next album and beyond. I have no idea what they'll come up with but I think that is a really good thing. As for fave Beatles albums......where to start?!?!?!?! I was rocking The White Album last night and For Sale this morning. My fave Beatles album changes on a weekly basis. They're all good. Yourself?

Thought so. Daybreak is blowing my mind. Love it. Can't wait to see them when they tour Australia next year. Exciting. You dig the album? Looking at your albums >>>>> I'd say we have very similar taste in tunes. Cool.

it really baffles me how so many people on here prefer the older stuff CSD and TBC. i mean fair enough you're entitled to your opinion but there's no need to be elitist about it and completely dismiss anything post-SWYA. i'm glad that there is someone out there that appreciates saves the day in the same way I do. yes us beatles/saves the day fans do think alike. i'm excited to hear the direction that the band takes for the next record, it might even be out next year or so, seeing as this album was written not long after UTB.

yeah i have to say that Sound The Alarm is my absolute favourite, followed jointly by In Reverie, Stay What You Are, Daybreak and Under The Boards. Not really into the older STD stuff, quite generic pop-punk. after SWYA they got a lot more adventurous in their songwriting, i.e. a massive beatles influence.

I'm really an old school Saves the Day fan so I haven't listened to much since In Reverie but so far so good, I think I'm really going to love Daybreak

yeah i'm so relieved that it got leaked. It's everything I ever wanted from this album. Perfect ending to the trilogy. You can really hear Beatles influence in there, all those vocal harmonies in Daybreak for example. I take it you love it too.

No Daybreak hasn't leaked yet, well not that I know of. I just recorded the tracks from youtube etc of the live gigs. A bit sad I know, but hey, at least I can scrobble them.
