Hey man! Neither did I know you were on here :P No, I don't currently use Spotify, but if I do I'll let you know!

Thank you, I suppose that we can say lucky England too. Yeah Paston was really impressive the whole world cup, and to think he wasn't even thought to be first choice at the start of the world cup.

We actually didn't play our best either which is a very good sign, there is some room for improvement, especially when we can get Brown back in to midfield (where we did look weak). Sadly, I couldn't go out last night as I still have uni work to do, but hopefully after the last game (when we progress to the next round) I will make a night of it!

Thank you. I have been rather nervous about this for the last few hours, and kick off is still an hour away. It is supposed to kick off at 11:30pm here, so may be a fairly late night.

Chuurs. :D I found him very amusing. I've been listening to a lot of Tuatha De Danann lately, and Vader.

Spotify is a thing of genius :) I used to listen to a lot of industrial but have gone through many phases. Well it's their 10th anniversairy next year so hopefully they'll pull out some good bands. I think Machine Head's maybe a bit too commercial but you never know, Europe was at this one. XD

I do like that album :) But I was referring to his realllyyy early stuff, like the Stargate & Crypt of the Wizard. Smell of Rain's leaning more towards industrial. I do like what I've heard of Blut Engel :)

When I say dark ambient, I mean stuff like early Mortiis. Not the contemporary sounding stuff. My profile is full of metaphorical-nuss. What that statement says is, I don't get anal retentive pigeon-holing of genres.

I actually bought the album without having ever listened to the band, and thought that it was good, without really having any great songs on it. I will check out Crack the Skye soon.

I actually listened to a bit of 2 of their songs. I thought that perhaps one of them was just a fuck around or something. I have one Mastodon album - Blood Mountain, which is good, but I don't really listen to that much. Do you think Crack the Skye is similar to that, or is it much better?

I have given everything a listen, thanks for the recommendations. I like Isis, Cult of Luna and Callisto, but Pelican, Red Sparowes, Agalloch and The Alchemist (are you sure that was right?) weren't really my thing.

It is even worse here, although I suppose when there is a worldwide release date, we do get it first. Yeah thanks for the recommendations mate.

Well it is easy enough to find them on myspace, but finding any albums could be difficult. Currently listening to Isis, but my connection is dodgy, so may wait until I get home. Spotify still isn't available in New Zealand, actually heard about it a while ago, but no idea when it will be available here.

Are all of the bands you listed on myspace? If so I will check them out as soon as I get out of my lecture. I actually really enjoy heavier stuff, but recently have been enjoying music that I can chill out to a bit more. But I always have time for some heavier stuff.
