Hi there, just dropped by to say that "Ocean Rain" is a perfect recording. I absolutley adore it. The "All you need is love "version from the bonus tracks is cool too. I like the dark psychedelic feel about it. Good rec, buddy :)

I guess their debut "The Modern Dance" is a great starting point. It was mine. It has got great Melodies, shows the wide range of David Thomas' Voice and has already got the sense of experimentation. It´s one of my alltime favorite albums, and I guess it´s sort of a american post-punk-classic. "Cloudlands" is an End-80´s-Record and their sketch on Pop. "Why I hate Women" from 2006 is despite the nam a quite beautiful loose concept-album about Love and all its facettes. These are sort of good examples for their different styles. They became one of my favorite-bands and I´m still discovering them (They got 14 studioalbums) Their singer David Thomas (Sometimes "Crocus Behemoth" ;) has got a really strange voice. You gotta hear it, it´s hard to explain. Have fun exploring them. If you got any further questions.... I already know, and mostly love 7 of their albums.(yes, i´m proud of that :) Bye

I know some INXS-songs and i know what you mean. I don´t really like them either. the Jam has been on my list too. Maybe if it´s cheap, I take it too. One Question: Do you listen to Pere Ubu? Got a great interest in movies and music, as well as media and art, amongst other things.
