I've actually appreciated your shout in the sense shoutboxes are not only a place to express positive things but a way to create some debates of ideas by confronting divergent points of view (and also being reasonable and having some relevant arguments). Anyway, I definitely couldn't change your opinion about MIss Newsom's voice in the sense that's a question of personal appreciation. However, I'd like to know which album/songs did you listen to? In the same genre (which is weirdly called Freak Folk), I recommend you to listen to Rio En Medio. She's a friend of CocoRosie and performs a limpid and immersive music. Have a look on it, that's her take-away show made in Paris : http://www.blogotheque.net/Rio-en-Medio,3261 (watch especially the second video). Another band you might like is called Elysian Fields, an American band performing some dream pop songs. It's one of my favourite band for the simple reason they make an intuitive and oniric music (hence the name dream pop).

    Mostly breathing, gotta stay alive you know. :) Other then that I don't know... I constantly loose myself in what I do.. which is absolutely nothing. Thinking of collecting stuff.. but I cant figure out what to collect... there is so much stuff I don't know where to begin... there I went again :P what about you? the music still going strong? :D

    Yes, psy ambient is one of my resources. I've been listening to your library quite a lot. Always a varied trip, with much psy ambient as well, with some excellent goa and world spicing. We ought to encourage ol' Lara to get onto Last.Fm. He's always a fun addition.
