I didn't end up seeing Beck...I was camping at the time, and pretty much broke now that's school back. Tuition sucks. Still so jealous about Yo La Tengo, but thats sort of disappointing that they weren't completely amazing. Did they play alot of material from newer releases, or older? ps I see you're going to see Girl Talk! Greg Gillis is absolutely fantastic live, I saw him about a month ago and it just a huge sweaty lumpy dance party extraordinaire. Definitely worth seeing, he gets so into his music, and when I went he invited everyone onstage. Dancing 3 feet away from GIRL TALK was so much fun! Yeaaah 19+ is definitely better than 21+, but I've got sort of a Minor Threat view on shows...they should be all ages. I remember so many of my favourite bands at the time played shows here and they were all 19+ (The Shins, Belle & Sebastian, etc).
