Yeah exactly, I love reading while that album's on, or writing. I play it on the big surround system and just let the room fill up like a flood, or have it on headphones to examine the myriad incredible details woven into the tracks. It's actually a great cycling album since even though it's ethereal, there's usually a percussive beat to go along with movement..

by the way, you checked out Bows huh? Awesome. If you didn't finish the album, definitely do that at some point, I think it only gets stronger as it goes along... that's one band which truly and utterly deserves some more fans and recognition.

me either! every few days I'm compelled to spin my vinyl of Los Angeles, or play some of the EPs, or whatever. I've listened to the album while cycling at least 40 times this year, far more than any other music. I get random clips & bits of his stuff stuck in my head for hours, or in a dream, stuff like that. He's done no wrong so far and I fully expect whatever's next to be as genius or better than what we've got now. You need anymore? Looks like you haven't heard the LA EPs yet... some of that stuff is on caliber with the album.

Oh yeah they're comparable. I'm sure that's heresy to some AD fans but come one, you've got to move on at some point! I'd say Sunny has more structurally in common with Seinfeld but the humor definitely appeals to fans of that or AD... and you can see on my page, I straight up said "best comedy on tv" - I really love the show. The new season just started so I was excited for it...
