Yes, I love Takashi too! : ) I live in Kyoto, Kansai. Hadaka No Rarizu was also formed here about 40 years ago and they played their first show at the Kyoto University. Which part of the states do you live in? ありがとうございました!希望するとしても素晴らしい一日を過ごす!

yes, something old, something new... as long as it sounds good (everyone has to apply his or her own criterias here) it is all well done. I'm usually more fond of old music aswell, but there are also artist who create fine music today. I'm quite excited about what music will find its way into our ears in 30+ years. there will always be a lot of redundant music but there will also be a few gems, just the same. I have a collection of beethoven's symphonies lying around here (1-9) and am more than excited to give it a few listens... music can be so wonderful... btw. can you explain to me why all non-classical music is called pop? I've read somewhere that the listener needs to have pre-acquired knowledge to enjoy this music but wouldnt the same be true for a couple of avantgarde rock bands? or (free) jazz?

no, it's completely arbitrary that beethoven has 1000 plays. i've only listened to his vocal folk work so far and only because I got my hands on a collection. I want to to listen to many more composers, not only the biggest of the biggest but that takes a lot of time. there is so much great music to listen to and only so little time. I still like rock and want to explore what classic albums that genre has to offer. then there are blues and jazz which I also plan to explore eventually... :) I went from heavy metal to prog rock and from prog to "everything"... there is too much music out there worth exploring. dont you agree? what do you say about your interest in music (having classical composers next to avant-rock bands, american folk and baroque pop greats The Zombies... :)
