  • Audioslave criticism

    Set 20 2006, 8h59

I read at the norwegian newspaper Dagbladet that "The new Audioslave album isn't wourth the money". Thats a lot of bullshit.
Thoe the new album is pretty much like the two before, that's not necessarily a bad thing. If you always excpect a band to "evolve" it self from the last album then yes, but if they don't then that must mean they have found their sound, right?
A band as Audioslave that is put together with veterans within the rock/hard-rock genre, probably knows that to play on the same track all the time might be a mistake. But when they do, I guess they must hav found the sound that realy makes them feel good when they play.

If you enjoy "happyjazz" then listen to Livingroom Story here.
They play jazz that makes everyone feel happy, and the gitar player Børge Nordstrand got some nice riffs. Enjoy!

("Lytt" is norwegian for "listen" ;)
  • Lenny Kravitz // Oslo - 04

My first concert in Oslo Spektrum, and it was something to remember.
The "warmups" was the norwegian girl-rockband Furia, a real energetic group that got the crowd in the right moode.
Then It all went black and the whole concert hall went silent, without any sign of light Lenny sings out; "I'm the Minister of Rock 'n' Roll" and baboom the stage flares up in light, and of course the crowd goes bananas. Trough out the concert we get pumped with the one hit after the other. And I swear, I could feel the heat from the searchlights when they all went on in the final song "Are You Gonna Go My Way". A "supreme" concert that was wey over Bruce Springsteen, The Boss didn't match this!
