Thank you very much, my friend! I appreciate your greetings a lot :) I'm right now waiting for my parents to arrive from Church, so we can prepare the dinner.

Yes... too bad things like that still happen around the world, and even more they are imposed! I again wish you the best for your country and that some day (hope it's soon!), you can choose how to lead your life with no pressures.

TV here shows morning gossip shows, soap operas (they used to be good, but now they prefer on getting more viewers by doing soap operas catered to child and tennage audiences or putting most of their actresses almost without clothes on the night time ones, leaving the plot and acting behind), dubbed foreign shows, reality shows, and sensationalist newscasts (and in the state-owned channel... it gets more "political"). In the end, I only watch local TV for the serious part of newscasts, some shows, and the gossip just to relax my mind from tiring lectures and readings! The rest... I download it, or manage to catch something interesting on cable. Wow, I bet your leaders would probably melt if they watch one of our "teen shows" in which they feature girls with very skimpy outfits dancing (the show is called Yingo).

Here for Easter (date in which Catholics remember the death and resurrection of Jesus), everything is shut down, and there's nothing but religious movies on National TV (all radios play rather slow and sad music. At least there is satellite/cable TV that shows other stuff... even s0ft-p0rn movies, hahahahaha), and even some years ago my dad would complainif I played rather "loud" music during those days. A few years ago, we still had tons of religious holidays, but they've been slowly reduced (though I'm still amazed that the "Immaculate Conception of Mary" holiday that celebrates that Mary was born and gave birth as a Virgin still exists... but then it's a day off for most people). And our secular holidays are pretty much useless... we celebrate a lost battle (it is supposed to be heroic and all that, but it has lot of myth around it), our "national day" isn't independence day like most people believe but the day where the first independent government was formed (to support the King
