That's the boilerplate greeting! In your case, your music would be connected to Chez Platinum, as you greatly exceed the necessary 2000 listeners and 10K scrobbles, and it would stream on both Chez Musinum and Chez Platinum Artist Radios. The honor would be all mine! (You are already connected to two of my groups, Deep Listening, and Tim Doyle.)

Thank you for accepting my Friend request! I'd like to invite you to join my friends-only group Chez Musinum, a hub for artists, group leaders, and passionate listeners. If you have an artistic presence here, it will be connected with the group (or one of two sister groups, depending on listenership) and your music will stream on one or more of our Artist Radios. As an added inducement, you can be Minister of anything you like in our entirely fanciful Chez Musinum Cabinet. Hope to see you there!

One thing I think that ties our music together, despite the superficial diffferences in "genre" and in means of production, is that both require a quiet and open mind to absorb. Also that the music is perhaps not so much "created" as "discovered".

David Hickey is currently considered my most similar artist (Tim Doyle). I noticed you wrote the bio and figured you might be he. A fair number of my most simlar artists use Tibetan bowls or similar instruments (Including Vlasta Marek, Om Hellenkamp Thea Surasu, and Ben Scott / Christa Michell), and produce longform meditative music. My own music is electronic and based on fractals, but also longform and meditative, even though it ranges from slow and quiet to rapid and dense at times.

Sobre mim

Canadian born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, I have long had a love for music and crystals. After being introduced to my first singing crystal bowl in 2001 I began to assemble my own set which now includes over 30 different crystal tones. In 2004 I added Paiste Planet, Sound Creation and Symphonic Gongs to the mix and the music has never been the same. Also used are the Vibraphone and Santoor from Iran.

I have played the bowls accompanied by various vocalists as well as instruments such as the harp, piano, keyboard, guitar, mandolin, flute, didgeridoo, orchestra bells, drums and chanting, kirtan groups, and even an orchestra.
