yep, that is a real strength of the boss, his tales of underdogs, romantics and loosers are easy to picture hey. tom petty writes alot like that. dylan can get introspective but he can be cryptic, sarcastic and evil and wtf haha. neil young has his outcasts and loners, takes a very personal warts and all approach to alot of his writing.

Yep, would go down very well here, the boss. I loved Oasis, the attitude and guitars, both distorted feedback and a more beatle based sound. I remember when they broke in Australia in a big way circa WTSMG, sorta lost interest in them as the 90's went on though.

Paul Weller must be one of the coolest muso's out there. Can't tell you how bad we need a Macca tour in Australia mate. His energy, enthusiasm and still great vocals for over 2 and a half hours considering he's nearing 70 is fucking unbelieveable. Floored when I saw him sing "I'm Down" (on the Citi Field DVD) Live, I wish! Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers are another act I'd love to see in Australia, I can't list many better musicians than those guys. I see your a fan of Oasis, I can remember as a youngster during the beatles anthology hype, when I got turned onto this great music that the press were pitting Oasis v The Beatles, it was cool to watch rage with both Beatles and Oasis back to back inside the top 20, used to wake up not to miss it! My bro in law actually worked on Liam Gallagher's house in London last year when he got a job as a building labourer, he saw and heard Liam didn't get to meet him though

saw neil at big day out in perth, there the whole day, got on the bourbons mostly staying in the area with all the mist and the rockwiz band were playing a few sets in there in 40c heat but seen a few sweet acts along the way, My Morning Jacket the best of those for mine. By the time Neil came on the sun had set and alot of people were just baked and passed out to the tunes of Neil, he is ferocious with his feedback and playing, climaxed with A Day In The Life, he started screaming, maybe crying for John and lifting his guitar over his head, broke the strings off was hitting the strings off his pick ups with massive feedback, i was at the very front, Rick Rosas waved out me to and he pointed me out to Neil, I had a Zuma shirt on and Neil flashed a frown in approval, was stoked. he is an ageless rocker and i think will be around for years yet.

Missed out on seeing Paul Weller in Perth, Don't mind some Stereophonics. Neil just blows anyone of the stage doesn't he? He has influenced so many different artists that I was not surprised to hear Lady Gaga covered "Out On The Weekend" haha. Have you seen Neil live? Saw him in 2009

good shit here mate, springsteen, young, powderfinger, stones. neil and bruce rocked out on a few tunes for the 04 vote for change show Bruce did, its on you tube, Young is playing like a man possessed as he often does, other than that you cant go past the legendary Rocking In The Freeworld on SNL in 89

Ha, thats the day after my birthday. Yeah, are they setting up a tent, or is it a smallish venue? I don't know much about Bendigo... I think he used it well too. I have seen quite a few acts there and I was a bit worried how JM would use it, because I would have preferred to seen him in a smallish venue, but I think he did it his way which is good. I have no idea! I hope so. I'd like to see him before he can't travel anymore...

Yeah, I heard that too. He did I Got Dreams To Remember by Otis Redding during Gravity which was pretty cool, I think I was the only one around where I was that knew what it was. I really like your loved tracks too.
