Just watched Viva La Muerte and the opening theme song got stuck in my head. After a bit of research, found out it is a nonsense Danish children's song written by Grethe Agatz called Ekkoleg. Even better, it is available as a free download here on last.fm.

I was listening to some Nitzer Ebb this week, and thanks to the similar artists, discovered the world of new old school EBM… which sounds exactly like old old school EBM. I always thought That Total Age was way too short, and now its like it got extended by many hours. Same voice, same drums, same killer bass lines, with some slight variations. so I've been listening lately to the new British garage band The Horrors… the name and look reminded me of one of the first bands I ever saw live, Montreal's The Gruesomes, garage band from the 80's. I didn't live in Montreal then, and the show I saw was at a hard-core redneck bar called the Wagon-Wheel, literally situated in a field in the middle of no-where, but it was cool because it was all ages so we could get our older friends to smuggle drinks into the bathrooms.
