it seems like almost everyone has a "turning off" point with REM. Not me though (lol) . I even liked Reveal (blind bought it actually, a few years ago)... and I'm kinda curious to hear Around the Sun... even if I know from the start this is not going to be vintage REM per se... Oh, and you should consider giving Adventures in Hi-Fi a new go.. :P

I've been discovering them more this week. I kinda owe them that - 2 of my all time faves are from them (Murmur and Automatic for the People). From the albums I've been discovering, I'm surprised in particular with the underrated Green, which is becoming a 3rd favorite for now.
