    Spektor was quite life changing. I was with a really close friend and we got really romantic, so that kind of added to the experience. I love the exclusively live pieces she plays live like 'Silly Eye Color Generalizations, they are truly amazing. She's just a fucking angel, everything she does and every vowel that pierces her beauteous lips is beautiful. She made me cry, laugh, smile, and metaphysically explode in the same two-hour period. One of the best concerts I've been to.

    yaw, wind's poem is definitely not my favorite either. if i could see him play one of his mount eerie albums in its entirety, i think i'd want to hear dawn, or lost wisdom if julie was with him! :D hmm i was planning on going to that show with why? as well, that didn't quite work out though. did you go to treasure island? it was sold out by the time i went to buy tickets, lol, since when do festivals sell out?! pretty bummed i missed it though, i've gone every year except this one
