* Evanescence were one of my first metal bands too ^^ Avril lavigne are listenable but I prefer listenting to better stuff like After forver. System of a down are too popular and too commercial, and I dislike their music. Tokio hotel is crap for 12 year old emo wannabes . ^^ And you want some help ? I don't think you need any, you realy have good music taste exept those pop metal bands ^^

I'm sorry. Evanescence just sounds extremely dismal to me. I don't mind some proper metal. But I just find them a little cheesy. Infact, the majority of metal is crap. What's the need to feel so grim? Slayer, Motorhead, Deicide and Black Sabbath is about as hardcore as I can go. But I suppose the world would be a bleak place if we all enjoyed the same thing. Thanks for the reply, Alex.
