amber have been on my "buy at some point" list for ages, but I've never heard them. I'm thinking of doing a massive cd haul next paycheck though so might get them then. Re: Darkspace cds, I bought them all at a distro fairly cheap a year ago, I doubt they're suddenly super rare these days.

nice work with the millionaire plays. Was wondering if you've heard any Darkspace? Seems like the kind of stuff you could really enjoy, metallish, fairly involved composition (in III, at least), big walls of noise, ambientish

on the whole Greetings from Hell note, I think the material on this is even more awful than St Lime's Hill? I mean that in the most positive way, of course. "the wolves cry out they call me wormy"

so, I scored a bunch of Damien Storm songs off our good ebro john sunlight/kvisling. Do you have the other band's side of Greetings from Hell? Just so I can do a review.

New Síol Na Gréine album "Adhradh" available for free download from hiarctow.com (similar to Burzum, Early music, Biosphere, Tangerine Dream).

Eh, I've tried to listen to Meshuggah, but it always ends up sounding like angry toughguy shoutyman metal to me.

hey, any chance of being a pal and uploading that "terminal beach" album? Starting to look into noise, and need some sort of material to start with.

sorry to bore you with another recommendation, but Persefone's "Shin Ken" is a surprisingly non sucky prog album. A tasty mix of sounds, pretty tech-y while still delivering heaviness, and all in all it just sounds pretty fresh and unique without resorting to avant-garde badness. It's a bit fruity in places but quite good in general imo, give it a listen sometime.

Those two definitely wouldn't help your charts any. Most of the songs on those albums are about half an hour each. I wish that last.fm scrobbled listening time instead of song length: it would do wonders for my Esoteric and Skepticism plays.

Listenin' to some Klaus Schulze, I see... Good choice. He's probably my favorite ambient artist, particularly his X and Cyborg albums.

I see you listened to at least one Dark Millennium song. How'd you find it?
